Band Bio
Chosen Words from the Cat Behind the Scenes
by: Felix C. Buckley
Amidst the vast array of 3-piece bands, pop-punk bands,
pop-rock bands, punk-rock bands, punk-rawk bands, pop-punk-rock bands, runk-pop bands, pop
bands with punk influences, and everything in between, there is Spin Cycle. And with all
the style classifications, their own name best depicts it...Spin Cycle, it's fast and
clean. The band's style has derived from the up-beat side of pop-punk, and has daily
accelerated toward an emotional yet energetic flavor, with hints of style from such bands
as: Green Day, Midtown, and New Found Glory. Call it what you will, but it's just good
rock and roll, and most importantly it's a show meant for movement. With
"Starry-Eyed" coming out only a year after recording, their shows of recent
prove that the rapid growth makes this album a classic. With changes made to songs from
the album, increased ability in vocal ranges, and instrumental variety, there is another
album worth of new and improved songs. But don't take my word for it, go to a show, pick
up the album, put some stickers on your car, and enjoy!
